Hello, 2013

Hello 2013!
First of all, wishing everyone good health and blessed new year!

With 2012 behind us, we are looking forward to 2013. We had a lot of big plans coming up and will be launching them very soon in 2013.

Before that, let us have a recap of the events from 2012.

2012 was a year of transition as we sought after a new direction with creative pre-wedding photography that makes you stand out a notch above the normal traditional wedding photography. Our new direction lead to the creation of Avior Pictures from 1950 Photography. Our concept for pre-wedding photography revolves around you and your partner. We would like to document your pre-wedding photography using your story! And adding in with our creative and unique photography concept, we bring your photos ALIVE.

For actual day wedding photography, our main focus would still be natural unposed moments captured at its peak of the emotions. We do not ask you to pose and look at the camera to smile during your wedding day. Instead, we will just be around, working quietly and capture true genuine moments. Of course, we will gladly have the family portraits shoot when needed to as well.

At the end of 2012, our new direction for creative pre-wedding photography had garnered attention from the local press media such as Capital 95.8 radio, mypaper and 联合晚报

The press featured our northern lights wedding photography, which was one of the milestone in the wedding industry. Perhaps, we are the first in Asia to have the honor to shoot a wedding photography under the northern lights too!

With a new team in Avior Pictures, our new blood came in with new ideas. That pushes every photographer in Avior to higher levels as all of us learn from each other.

In 2012, we also captured a total of 6 international awards after traveling to 6 countries and 12 cities for all our assignments overseas! We even expanded to Australia!

Most importantly, we couldn’t have done all these without you guys! A big thank you to everyone that have taught us, engaged us for your wedding day photography, shared with us your stories and having patience while waiting for your photos.

These are the major events that had came and gone in 2012. In 2013, we definitely hope to serve everyone better with a new direction that focus on creative unique pre-wedding photography, and an eye for genuine moments and details on your wedding day.

We are also feeling very excited about our up-coming 2013 news! Do keep a close watch on it!
